About Our Nursery
Perfect Plantings Nursery has been developed over the last 6 years on the site of a derelict plant nursery, tucked away in the corner of a Norfolk farm built on the remnants of a WW2 American Airbase.
Lots of hard work, sweat & tears clearing trees & brambles revealed an interesting layout of paths with hidden corners, we have devised a layout that utilises the sheltered microclimate to give us different growing areas
Woodland edge plants, a shade tunnel of ferns, an inner courtyard of sun loving grasses & perennials. Shrubs & Climbers have their own growing tunnel, plus we now have our showcase/sales area in which we display the best seasonal varieties for sale.
Our range of Plants
We grow an ever-increasing range of Ornamental grasses with well over 100 of the best varieties, Complimented with all the very best hardy perennials, ferns & shade lovers, shrubs & Climbers. We constantly assess the best plants & introduce new varieties on a regular basis. All plants in our mail order range are available at the nursery, either in standard 9cm mail order pots, normally in good qtys of 200 + or larger pot size plants for Nursery visitors.
When Visiting the Nursery
We grow a wide range of plants, on a constant production cycle, so not all plants may be available at any one time, so, if you are looking for a specific variety it may be best to check in advance if you are travelling especially. We do have lots to look at however ! You can also order online to collect from the Nursery, we get the plants ready for you and let you know when they are ready, you will save on P&P charges too ! Well behaved Dogs are welcome but please only when kept on a lead. The Access around the Nursery is good with paths suitable for disabled visitors, we have a direct access point for this so please ask on arrival, we will do our best to help.

466th Bomb group.
The Nursery is located on the site of a former WW2 American Airbase, which was the home of the 466th Bomb group. We walk & grow plants over the same area which was known as the 'Firing Butts' where the large bombers turned, and test fired their guns before heading down the main runway towards Nazi Germany, a similar setup as portrayed in the recent Tom Hanks / Steven Spielberg 'Masters of the Air'. The Large mound of the Firing butt can still be seen at the end of the Nursery.

Please note; we are NOT in the village of Weston Longville, we are situated in the middle of nowhere
(or in the sticks if you are Norfolk born) between Hockering on the A47 and Lenwade on the A1067,

Directions
From the village of Hockering on the A47 continue out of the village towards Lenwade, and you will come across our grey & white signs at the T junction end of Heath rd.
From Lenwade on the A1067, turn onto Weston Hall rd towards the Roaarr (Dinosaur park) or Royal Norfolk Golf Club, and continue without turning off for 2 & 1/2 miles & you will find our grey & white signs to direct you in.
There are also bright orange signs for the Wat arun buddhist centre at the main entrance and we are very close to TMA bark supplies as some landmarks to look out for. Good luck.
