Location ; Loughborough, leicestershire

Clients info; The clients needed to lower the maintenance in their back garden, & liked the prairie style. An existing border was cleared in preparation.

Concept ; a prairie style grass & perennial planting, set into an existing back garden border area,

The border has been set out in a contemporary style, using grasses & perennials set out in a matrix pattern providing a framework of repeat planted varieties.

Tall structural grasses flank the back of the planting giving a long season of interest, selected mid-border grasses repeat planted mark the framework through the border.

Flowering perennials with a pastel colour scheme of pink, blue, yellow, to white provide the base colour throughout the year. The layout plan shows the eventual spread of the plants between 2-4 years.
