Location ; Downham Market, Norfolk

Clients info; The clients own a 16th century Townhouse in the centre of Downham Market & are renovating both the house &  very old garden layout containing ageing mulberry trees & remnants of long gone buildings.

Concept ; a modern take on a parterre garden using low hedging to frame four square borders with a central feature. Set into an existing lawn area.

The concept layout plan for a modern take on a parterre style area, set into an existing lawn.

A grass & perennial mixed planting devised to add an ethereal, frothy effect as a foil to the structure of the low hedges 

A mix of hot flower colours set against some light blue & gold will stand out against the hedge colours.

The planting has been selected to provide a long season of interest into the late Autumn & winter.
