Acorus calamus variegatus

A variegated evergreen rush, very low growing with attractive arching narrow arching leaves margined with creamy yellow. This stunning plant tends to prefer a moist to wet soil in full sun to part shade, and will even sit in the margins of a pond, it will however take a dry soil also, so a very useful grass which spreads slowly, great in an architectural planting scheme, even in containers as an edging.
