Known as the 'Tatting Fern or lady fern' very popular in Victorian times when ferneries were all the rage. this variety has unique small rounded fronds resembling lace hence its name. (apparently) Lovely planted amongst other ferns for contrast or in a woodland setting as this deciduous plant must have full to part shade in a moist soil to do well.
