Carex 'Silver Sceptre'

A Japanese, evergreen variegated sedge with a slight curl along the length of its foliage. curving to the ground softly, spreads by rhizomes and can tolerate quite a bit of shade. very low growing with white, cream and green variegated leaves, ‘Silver Sceptre’ brightens a shade garden. An introduction by Dr. Masato Yokoi, an internationally recognized authority on variegated and colored-leaved plants.

This stunning grass tends to prefer a moist soil in full sun to part shade, making a good woodland edge plant, or perfect in containers on the patio.
