Echinacea hybrida 'Cheyenne Spirit'

Echinacea 'Cheyenne Spirit' is a new addition to our range, with beautiful flowers which have a broad colour range, from cream, to yellow then into sunset shades of purple, pink, to red. They emerge a lighter colour then deepen into the richer tones as the season progresses. This echinacea is very sturdy, drought resistant prefering well drained soils in a sunny spot. Plant in blocks for the best effects.

These plants have become tremendously popular in recent years thanks to the trend of 'Prairie Style' planting schemes. Their impressive daisy type cone centre flowers in varying shades can be put to good effect mixed with other hardy perennials such as Asters, Rudbekias, Cimicifuga, eryngiums etc, & especially married with all the ornamental grasses which invoke this prairie style planting effect. Plant Echinaceas in well drained soil in full sun & they will reward you with months of flowers.
