This eryngium known as the Rattlesnake master, or button snakeroot, is a hardy perennial with small oval flower heads held on branching stems, its foliage is glaucous resembling a yucca, giving it its name. lovely grown through a perennial border or in a gravel bed.
A great cut flower too. preferring a sunny spot in a well drained soil, and it thrives in the drought conditions which we seem to get more often now ! looks really great in a large container.
