Festuca mairei

Originating from North Africa, the 'Atlas fescue' provides slender, arching beige flowers on upright stems above a light green ground cover foliage clump. Tolerant of hot dry sites on a well drained soil, looks great planted in groups. A very low maintenance plant and the largest of the festuca grasses.
