The Siberian iris, a native of Turkey, very tight forming clumps of grass like leaves, are topped with delicate, classy flowers on stout stems. Prefers full sun to part shade on any soils, will tolerate a boggy soil even growing next to a natural pond or waterway, and even a dry one once established.
Iris sib. 'Caesers Brother' has intense mid-purple flowers with speckled white and yellow throats, above grassy foliage.
