Luzula pilosa 'Igel'

An attractive dwarf selection of luzula that forms very neat, symmetrical low mounds of dark green glossy evergreen leaves with bronzy tints on at the ends. (Igel meaning "hedgehog" in German )Tiny panicles of yellow-green flowers in the spring.

Prefers a moist soil in full sun to part shade, making a good woodland edge plant, will cope with a drier soil once established also perfect in containers or underplanting shrubs etc.
