Rodgersia aesculifolia

Rodgersias are really striking plants for a moist, poorly drained damp border in light shade. their strong architectural foliage is admired by many & is the perfect foil to ferns, & small grasses. A great waterside plant too.

This particular variety is known as the chestnut leaved rodgersia due to its five lobed broad hand shaped leaves up to 50cm wide, Small creamy pink to white are carried on long stems from July onwards.
