Rudbeckia Laciniata 'Juligold'
This Rudbeckia is very reliable & known for performing well on poorer soils, forming stands with strong upright stems with dark green, deeply cut leaves, topped with large yellow flowers with reflexed petals around a green to darker brown coloured central cone, much loved by bees & other pollinators.
Very upright in habit so can be grown at the very back of a border, or moved forward to provide an accent point in a more random naturalistic planting. Perfect for creating mid to late-summer colour in ornamental borders working well in prairie -style schemes with ornamental grasses. Stout enough not to require staking
prefers full sun in well drained soil and they will increase steadily.
Flowers from June to October, stands well through the winter very effective covered in Autumn dew & Winter frost !
