Schizachyrium scoparium 'Standing Ovation'

A stunning new cultivar of a prairie native grass known as the 'North American Bluestem' due to the blue colouring of its upright-arching leaves which are tipped with red tints. requires full sun and well drained soil to do well. Holds its colours well through the winter, upright stems bearing small beige flowers alog their length in late summer.
