Schizachyrium scoparium 'Standing Ovation'

A stunning new Andropogon cultivar of a prairie native grass known as the 'North American Bluestem' due to the blue colouring of its upright-arching leaves which are tipped with red tints. Holds its colours well through the winter, upright stems bearing small beige flowers along their length in late summer.
