Product Details
Known as the 'alkali sacaton' we think this grass is a step up from Sporobolus heterolepsis as it seems more distinct.
A distinctive perennial grass that forms mounds of slender, grey-green, arching foliage turning a lovely golden-orange during the autumn months then fading gently to a light bronze-brown in winter. Its the airy panicles of tiny pinkish-red flowers carried above the leaves in summer that set this grass apart.
Definitely prefers full sun in a dry & well drained or poor soil and will increase steadily.
