Stipa pennata

Known as the European feather grass, its a very elegant grass with shimmering silvery flower heads above grey green foliage, providing texture and movement in a border. Ideal mid border and very well suited to the prairie planting style, Lasting well into the Autumn.

Prefers full sun with a well drained soil, tolerant of drought conditions.
