Anemone japonica 'Robustissima'

Known as the 'Japanese anemones or windflowers' this traditional late summer flowering perennial is very adaptable for all sorts of styles, and its large pink flowers with bright yellow centres carried on dark wiry stems above mounds of vine like, dark green foliage are produced from July To October, and right into the first frosts. ideal for mid border it prefers full sun to part shade in moist, humus rich but well drained soil and they will increase steadily. Great with shade loving hostas and ferns, or in a sunny border with ornamental grasses, geums and geraniums.
