Carex elata 'Aurea' known as Bowles golden sedge is a stunning dwarf grass that forms compact, arching mounds of bright golden foliage topped clusters of pointed brown flowers held upright during June.

Prefers a moist or even wet soil in full sun to dappled & even part shade, so very adaptable. Looks great at the edge of a pond. Associates well with iris, Hosta, Alchemilla
