Deschampsia cespitosa 'Pixie Fountain'

Known as the tufted hair grass, forming a semi evergreen compact tussock with bright -green leaves above which elegant clouds of feathery silvery - purple flowers emerge on 60cm high stems, then fading to a silvery buff as the season matures. great accent grasses, or good in small or large groups . Prefers full sun and a moist soil to be at their very best, but will also grow well at a woodland edge in part shade.
