Heucarella 'Kimono'

Known as 'Foamy Bells' after the frothy flowers' Heucarellas are a cross between Heucaras & Tiarellas much prized for their evergreen to semi evergreen bold foliage colours & sprays of tiny flowers held on short stems.Superb at the front of a border & really lovely in a woodland setting mixed with ferns, other shade loving perennials and short woodland loving grasses. We have planted this combination for many clients at great effect.They prefer part to full shade in a moist but draining soil to perform at their best, & will grow in full sun or containers as long as they are kept moist.

This variety has large palm shaped leaves of soft green with dark chocolate central stripe and a slight silvery overlay, foliage then turns metallic rose in the winter months, masses of creamy white flowers mid summer.
