Lychnis Flos-cuculi

Lychnis flos-cuculi or 'Ragged Robin' is a popular, naturally occurring hardy perennial with a gently spreading habit. Blue-green, lance shaped leaves on upright stems topped with flat star-shaped flowers with deeply cut petals varying in colour from purple pink to white, from May onwards.

This plant prefers full sun to dappled shade & prefers a moist or even boggy soil & is attractive to pollinators. Ideal in a naturalistic border, with ferns & grasses
