Monarda punctata

Known as the Spotted bee balm, originating from the North American prairies, where it grows in dry areas in open woodland, an attractive perennial with aromatic downy leaves, which are topped with stems of whorled flowers spotted yellow, purple & pink or lavender.

flowers July to September it grows in dappled shade to full sun in a well drained soil. Drought tolerant and attractive to pollinators, mixing well in a naturalistic planting.
