Lysimachia ciliata 'Firecracker'

Known as 'Loosestrife' the Lysimachias are a group of Native American wildflowers, suited well to the mixed or prairie style border. They all grow well in sun to part shade in any reasonable or even a drier soil.

This particular variety has lemony whorls of flowers above chocolate-mahogany foliage opening from green buds from from July onwards.
