Lythrum virgatum 'Rosy Gem'

Known as ' Pink Loosestrife' the Lythrums are another group of Native American wildflowers, suited well to the mixed or prairie style border, but also effective in a traditional cottage garden border. They grow well in sun to part shade in any reasonable soil, and particularly in boggy or wet soil, This particular variety has spikes of deep rose pink flowers from from June onwards.
