This stunning deep orange - yellow coloured perennial is normally grown as an annual with bristly stems & lance shaped leaves & a central dark-brown flower cone from mid-summer through to the Autumn

Perfect for creating late-summer colour in ornamental borders working well in prairie -style schemes with ornamental grasses. Stout enough not to require staking must be grown in full sun in well drained soil and will increase steadily.

Flowers from July to October, stands well through the winter very effective covered in Autumn dew & Winter frost !
