Salvia nemorosa 'Lubecca'

'The Ornamental or Border Sage' A group of plants that are currently enjoying much popularity, mainly due to their drought tolerance & long flowering season. Perfect in a mixed border, containers & of particular use in seaside gardens. They have a wide variety of small tubular flowers on upright stems of ovate aromatic foliage. They all prefer full sun to partial shade in a moist but well drained soil.

This particular variety has long spikes of violet-blue flowers, on near black stems, over fragrant, veined, mid-green foliage from May onwards into the autumn. Trim back in midsummer for a second flush of flowers
