The America blue vervain, tall upright flower spikes studded with violet-blue candelabra like flowers above green-grey narrow foliage from June onwards.
The Verbenas are a group of delightful hardy perennials which are ideal for growing 'Through" other plants, & mixed in for a naturalistic feel to a border. They look great with Ornamental grasses, Stipa tenuissima is a good partner for its frothy appearance & amongst other mid to late season perennials.
