Viburnum plicatum 'Pink Beauty'

This Viburnum is a beautiful deciduous shrub with upright, branched stems with mid green leaves that have a delightful crimson red tinge when young. From midsummer it forms flat lacecap flowers of creamy white , ageing to pink. Its really heavily scented right through to the autumn, when it then produces bunches of large berries, first appearing green, then changing colour through to white, to pink, then blue and finally near-black. therefore this plant offer a long seasonal interest particularly later in the year.

Ht 2.5m x Sp 2.5m Prefers full sun to part shade in a fertile, moist but well drained soil.
