Campanula takesimana

Known as the 'Bellflowers' a diverse group of flowering hardy perennials that range from low growing creeping mat formers, to the more stately upright varieties. growing well in sun to shade an incredibly versatile group of plants and would be more popular in our reckoning. Another cottage garden effect perennial for a mixed border.

This particular variety has bright, fresh green foliage carrying nodding large bell type flowers, white-lilac with maroon throats inside from July onwards.
