Known as the Alpine wood fern, a semi evergreen plant which forms impressive, erect lance-shaped bipinate fronds of fresh green when young, darkening with age . With a stand out dark stripe through the middle of each frond its Ideal for underplanting shrubs, used in a woodland setting with other ferns and suitable grasses. but must have part to full shade & a moist soil. Perfect in a pot for a shady corner also.
