Hosta 'Krossa Regal'

The 'Plantain Lilly' the Hostas are beautiful, long lived architectural plants for moist, well drained soil in shade to partial shade. we love them because they come in a myriad of differing leaf shapes, sizes & colours. with trumpet flowers held on the end of short upright stems from late spring. The foliage dies off in the winter with fresh new leaves unfurling in the spring. Keep well clear of slugs & snails for the best effect. Ideal plants for growing in large containers & can then be slotted into shady corners where little else will grow. A great woodland plant as long as they are not planted into dry soil.

This particular variety has large glaucous grey-green leaves, with lilac flowers spikes from July onwards.
