Briza media

Known as the quaking grass, or doddering Dillies, one of the prettiest to grow in a border, often best in groups to show off its shimmering seed heads , often with a purple tinge fading to buff, on swaying stems above its glaucous foliage base. Prefers full sun to part shade in a moist but well drained soil, often does well on a poor soil too.
