Briza Minor

The dwarf quaking grass, one of the lesser known annual grasses bears nodding, shimmering tiny flower heads which are segmented almost looking snakeskin like & shaped like a lantern. A real favourite with flower arrangers with the flowers/seed heads fading to a rice crispy like buff colour. Best grown in groups, and remove the seed before it distributes itself ready for next year!

Prefers full sun to part shade in a moist but well drained soil, often does well on a poor soil too.
